Here is the writing work I have done with certain High School classes and high school students through the Writing Center.
Humans of Greeley
There has only been ONE assignment that I miss--an assignment that is by far one of the most meaningful things I have ever done. It was inspired by the Humans of New York.

In a Creative Writing class when I was student teaching, the students really got into using The Humans of New York as writing prompts--much like I explain at the opening of this "Lessons" page.
​
As we neared the end of the year, I wanted to do something meaningful. I could (and did) make a portfolio, sure, but I wanted something more.
​
Then this idea hit me: The Humans of Greeley.
